Obituary

Jonathan Lee Neumaier

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle, and friend, Jonathan Lee Neumaier (Jonny 5). He passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24th, 2025. Jonathan was born on September 2, 1979. He attended Sauk Prairie schools and played hockey for the Sauk Prairie Flyers. He worked at various construction companies, most recently with Olson Toon. He worked hard and played harder. Jonny was born with 9 lives and he lived all 12 of them. He had the biggest heart and was incredibly charming. He was extremely funny and you could count on him to lighten any situation. He loved his family and friends.

His first friend was his brother, Nick, and they pulled all kinds of shenanigans together growing up. He was an avid Packer fan amongst his Neumaier Seahawk family and was so excited to watch Packer games with Kimbaseed and Randy – the three of them being in the minority. If there was a bonfire - he was there. He loved dressing up for Halloween and decorating the entire house for Christmas. Every year, he anticipated calling mom first on her birthday to beat out his sister, KJo. He looked forward to his annual fishing trips to Stoddard, hunting with Dillhole and Gregory, and ice fishing with family and friends.

*Side note - if you're at Fish Lake and find his thumb, we don't want it back. We will be telling "Jonny stories" for years. And there are many. We will also miss him forever.

Jonathan is survived by his dad, John Neumaier; his mom and bonus dad, Betty and Al Deming; his loving partner, Sarah Weiss (Babe); his baby, Emma Dog; his siblings - Kim and Randy, Kathy and Steve, Greg and Mel, Nick and Julie, Dan and Teri, Dusty and Janell; Brothers - Nuge and Granger; his nephews and nieces - Derek and Steffanie, Dylan and Chelsea, Kendra, Gage, Skye, Aurora, Harbor, Colin and Dezirae, Nolan, Carter, and Lucy; great nephews and nieces - Finn, Miles, Sophie, Oakley, Fraya, and Brylee. He is further survived by many loving relatives and too many friends to mention.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents - Maurice and Luella Neumaier, Murf and Mary Flentje; Uncles - Lloyd, Russ, Donald, Gerald, Burdette, and Jerry; Aunts - Jeanette and Sis.

Our family is far too heartbroken to hold services at this time.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
