Joshua Otto Stieve, age 45 of Sauk City, WI, passed away peacefully, winning his battle with ALS on November 22 ^nd , 2022 at the Madison VA in Madison, WI.

Josh was born on August 23, 1977 in Baraboo, WI, the son of Ron Stieve and Janet Frame. He attended St John's Lutheran School, graduated from Sauk Prairie High School, and then joined the US Navy. Josh then went on to become a civil engineer, working at MSA and then Speedway Sand and Gravel.

Josh enjoyed watching sports on TV and was an avid Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers fan. He was an amazing father to 2 daughters, Elaina and Evelynn and 3 stepchildren, Andrew, Emma, and Ethan.

Josh had a huge passion for fishing (always coming home with the one that he put back stories), snowmobiling, traveling with his wife, and hanging out with friends and family.

Josh is proceeded in death by his beloved dog Gunner, maternal grandfather, his childhood friend Jason Bolar, and many great aunts, uncles, family, and friends.

Josh is survived by his wife; Jodi Stieve, children; Elaina and Evelynn Stieve, stepchildren; Andrew (Lily) Stillman, Emma Schmidt, and Ethan Schmidt. Father; Ron Stieve, Mother; Janet Frame, Brother; Nate (Pam) Stieve, Sister; Carolyn (Chris) Uselman, Niece's; Maya Stieve and Leona Uselman, and Nephews; Dexter Uselman, Calvin Uselman, and Issac Stieve. Josh is also survived by many other family and friends.

Josh is the strongest, most intelligent, loving man that anyone had the privilege to be around.

A Celebration of Josh's Life will be held on Friday December 2 ^nd , 2022 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Lachmund-Cramer VFW in Prairie Du Sac, WI (700 VFW Dr, Prairie Du Sac, WI 53578).
