Juanita R. Moon, age 75, went to meet the Lord on November 30, 2008, surrounded by her children, at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born on August 24, 1933, the daughter of the late Arthur and Lela (Strickert) Riedel. She lived almost her entire life in Sauk County. Juanita was employed by Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital from 1969-1993 and has made many friends and acquaintances from her time of service to the Sauk County area. She was an active member of St James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Prairie du Sac. She is survived by four children, Arthur (Bette) Moon and Charlie (Pat) Moon, both of Reedsburg, Allen (Karen) Moon of Dexter, IA, and Mary (Vince) Randazzo of Baraboo; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Leroy (Elda) Riedel; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday December 4, 2008 at St James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Prairie du Sac with Pastor Bradley Pearson officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Lime Ridge. Friends may call at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City , WI, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008. In lieu of flowers , memorials may be given to St. James Building Fund.
