Judy A. Lamberty, age 74, of Sauk City, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. She was born in Madison on February 22, 1937, the daughter of late John Charles and Letitia (Powel) Nelson. She was united in marriage to the late Roman Lamberty on July 20, 1957.



Survivors include eight children Bruce (Tami) Lamberty of Ham Lake, MN, David Lamberty of Sauk City, Joanne (Dean) Dischler of Sauk City, Joe (Rose) Lamberty of Prairie du Sac, Mark (Cristeen) Lamberty of Cottage Grove, MN, Patrick (Julie) Lamberty of Sauk City, Karen (Jim) Breunig of Roxbury and Scott (Rebecca) Lamberty of Trempealeau; 21 grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica, Derek, Renee, Kaitlin, Bryan, Taylor, Alex, Nolan, Dominique, Simon, Georgia, Sydney, Kristin, Jordan, Lydia, Isaac, Naomi, Gabriel, Grant and Reagan; and one brother Hugh (Theo) Nelson of Sauk City.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roman Lamberty; two brothers, John and Gilbert Nelson; step-sister Delice Johnson; and step-bother Neal Nelson.



Judy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was an active volunteer at the St. Vincent DePaul Society in Prairie du Sac.



A Christian Burial Service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Prairie du Sac at 11:00 on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Family & friends my call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church.
