Obituary
June S. Hanson, age 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on August 25, 2015 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born on October 25, 1935 in Portage, the daughter of the late Walter and Leota (Stevens) Scott. She was united in marriage to Alan Hanson on July 5, 1952 in Portage.
She is survived by her husband, Alan;
6 children, Jim (Chalye), Scott (Deb), Russ (Laurie), Terry (Laura), Jeanine (Darren) Stone, and Tonya Hanson; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Rebecca Coulter, three brothers, Thomas James, Howard and Robert Scott.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Sauk Prairie Evangelical Free Church, Prairie du Sac with Dwight Pulsfus officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Maplewood Nursing Home, for their care given to June.
