Justin P. Vils

Justin Paul Vils, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Sept. 28, 2026. He was born Feb. 18, 1976 to William “Bill” and Vonnie (Maynard) Vils. As a young student, Justin attended Black Hawk Elementary school and graduated in 1994 from Sauk Prairie High School where he excelled in wrestling. Justin was united in marriage to Neisha Nelson on Dec. 4, 1999 in Clear Lake, WI.

Justin started his Journeyman plumbing eventually earning his Master plumbing license and many other plumbing and fitting licenses with the contractors he worked for. He worked in design, was a project manager, performed service work, and was respected by peers in the plumbing industry. Justin was a member of the Plumbers Local 75 Union for over 27 years before starting his own plumbing business, Vils Plumbing. He took extreme pride in a job done right.

Justin was devoted husband to Neisha; and father to Kylie, Nolan and Marshall. He encouraged Marshall in music and guitar and coached him in football. He loved following Nolan's football career and wrestling events; being mat side for all of Nolan’s matches. Justin shared with Kylie his weird sense of humor, artistic ability, and the trust that dad was always there when he was needed. Justin looked forward to time spent outdoors hunting. He had an appreciation for things built to last; good guns, great guitars, the durability of Milwaukee tools, Rock and Roll, old American cars and the best quality cooking and smoking equipment.

Justin will be missed by his wife, Neisha; children, Kylie, Nolan and Marshall; his mother, Vonnie Vils; brother, Craig (Kendra); his in-laws, Patty (Gary) Nelson; brother in-laws, Aaron (Tammie) Nelson and Brad (Whitney) Nelson; sister in-law, Shadon Nelson. Justin is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins’ other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Bill and a brother, Michael.

A visitation for Justin will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026 at Tower Rock Elementary School, S.9003 Denzer Rd., Prairie du Sac from 9:00 am until 11:30 am where a brief service and celebration of his life follow.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial for Justin will be established.
