Karen Maxine Hall, age 63, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at her home in Mazomanie surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 24, 1952 to Lawrence and Maxine (Grindle) Post. She was a graduate of Wisconsin Heights High School. She was united in marriage to Will Hall Jr. on March 30, 1973. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2002. Karen had been employed at General Casualty Insurance, Lands End and Sauk Prairie Hospital, retiring in 2012. She enjoyed bird watching, flowers, being a Grandma and spending time with loved ones.
She is survived by the love of her life, Mark Annen; daughters, Angie (Keith) Raedel of Lyndon Station and Katie Hall of Waunakee; grandson, Ford; mother, Maxine (Lyle) Hamm; two sisters, Kathi (John) Griffin and Kris (Randy) Mabin; numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence; daughter Missy; husband Will; and three brothers, Sonny, Eddie and Mickey.
A funeral service will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 702 Emily Rd., Mazomanie, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2016. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Dane Township.
