Katherine "Kay" Louise (Tuell) Strock, passed away to heaven on Tuesday,August 12, 2008, and joined her husband Justin and other family members who went ahead. She was born on January 25, 1941 in Freeport, IL. the daughter of Virginia G. (Branthaver) Tuell and Lawrence E. Tuell. Kay married Justin W. Strock on April 24, 1960. After moving to Merrimac, Wisconsin, she and her husband owned and operated the K & D's Resort & Bait Shop and the K & D Supermart & Liquor Store. Kay obtained her brokers Real Estate license and practiced real estate for many years in the Merrimac area.
Survivors Include: a son Lawrence W. (Michelle) Strock and three beloved grandchildren Ryann Elizabeth, Ashlynn Grace, and Kyle Alexander Strock, Her Mother Virginia, two sisters, Carol (Steve) Nye, and Sally Tuell, a Brother David (Sue) Tuell & loving niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 47 years, Justin W. "Dusty", an infant son, Mark Edward Strock and her beloved father Lawrence Tuell.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M.on Saturday August 16, 2008 at the Merrimac United Methodist Church, Merrimac, WI with Scott Martin officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church on Saturday. Inurnment will take place in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Merrimac, where she will be laid to rest beside her infant son Mark and husband Justin. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Home Health United Hospice. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Maplewood Nursing Home, Sauk City.
