Here's a little excerpt from her journal… "I grew up with three brothers Art, Larry and John. Most people knew me as Katie growing up (a nickname for Kathleen). Over the years we had many relatives live with us. During the depression Milo and Lucille lived with us (they didn't have 12 children then) We were living in Madison at that time. Aunt Darlene, mom's sister, and her daughter lived with us for a while. Mom, Regina, babysat Diane. Aunt Janet, mom's sister, and son lived with us when we moved to Mazomanie. Uncle Mike was in the service at the time. Being one of the oldest cousins, there were many and most were boys, I had to fend for myself. I guess you would call me a Tomboy." We would like to thank the doctors and nurses in St. Mary's ICU. Especially Pam, for helping us through this difficult time.

A visitation will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church, 2947 Thinnes St., Cross Plains  on Friday September 16, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and before the funeral service on Saturday from 9:00 am-10:45 am.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00am on September 17, 2022 at St. Francis Xavier Church, Cross Plains, WI.
