Kathleen "Kathy" M. Rebholz, age 70, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at UW Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born Kathleen Marie Stick in Madison, WI on October 19, 1944 to Wayne Stick and Valitha (Diske) Sprecher. Kathy grew up in the Leland-Irish Valley area and graduated from Prairie du Sac High School, Class of 1962. She married Kenneth Mack in 1963. She married Ronald "Bucky" Rebholz in 1991. Kathy worked at Central Colony and later operated her own in home daycare. She was an incredibly talented artist, and enjoyed painting ceramics, knitting, crocheting, tending to her flowers, fishing and camping. Kathy was a fantastic baker and cook. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and could be described as a baby squeezer and critter lover.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Bucky; her two daughters, Deanna (Arnold) Schulz of Columbus, WI and Kristy (Darrian) Dalangini of South Pasadena, CA; the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Thomas (Amanda) Schulz of Columbus, Valerie Schulz of Ft. Myers, FL., and Aurora Dalangini, of South Pasadena, CA; her beloved pet Buddy; her sister, Georgia (Frank) Selden of Prairie du Sac, WI; two special aunts and an uncle, Evelyn (George) Mark of East Berlin; PA and Bythia Gasser of Sauk City; brother-in laws Roger(Joan)Mack, Harlan(Merrilee)Mack and Donald Rebholz; sister-in-laws Elaine Hanson, Edith Mack, Kathy Rebholz-Jasper, Patty Puttnam and Linda(Jeff)Barlow. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Donald Sprecher.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11:00 a.m on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Black Hawk United Methodist Church, Sauk City, WI. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
