Kathleen Ellen Zurbuchen, age 54, passed away at her home on Sat. Nov. 28, 2015 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. She was born March 15, 1961 to Lawrence "Pat" and Mary (Wood) Seep. Kathy graduated from Weston High School; class of 1979.

Kathy was united in marriage to Rick A. Zurbuchen at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg on June 4, 1983. She enjoyed cooking and baking, four wheeling and snowmobiling. Kathy looked forward to camping and spending time with her family, especially trips to Tunnel Trail Campground near Elroy. She was a member of the Merrimac Snowbusters Snowmobile Club, and the Merrimac United Methodist Church. Kathy previously worked at Flambeau Plastic in Baraboo, operated an in-home daycare, and most recently for Mueller Sports Medicine for the last 13 years.

She is survived by her husband Rick and daughter, Jenna; her dad Lawrence "Pat" Seep of Cazenovia; her siblings, Sharon Weiland of Mauston, Patty (Ron) Peterson of Lone Rock, Tom (Paula) Seep of Reedsburg, Mike (Terri) Seep of Cazenovia, Jim (Patti) Seep of Cazenovia; her father and mother in-law, Allen and Nellie Zurbuchen of Merrimac; 2 brothers in-law, Greg (Debbie) Zurbuchen of Roxbury and Steve (Anne) Zurbuchen of Merrimac; a sister in-law, Tracy (Scott) Donohue of McFarland; she is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Merrimac United Methodist Church, 25 Church St. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City, and at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Merrimac. A memorial will be established in Kathy's name.

Kathy's family would like to thank all of Kathy's co-workers at Mueller Sports Medicine, Dr. James Heun, all the neighbors and friends who helped get Kathy to her appointments.
