Kathryn "Kate" L. Skinner of Mazomanie passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025 at Greenway Manor, Spring Green.  She was born in Dodgeville on Feb. 9, 1940 to the late John Milton and Marguerite (Stevens) Skinner.  Kate enjoyed going for walks, embroidering baby quilts and table runners, reading and word search puzzles.  For over 30 years she served lunch at the Mazomanie grade school and cleaned at the Mazomanie Peoples State Bank.

Kate is survived by her sister, Jane Rossbach; her brother, Paul (Karen) and sister-in-law, Lois Skinner.  Kate is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kristy (Keith) Boehnen, Neil Skinner, David Rossbach, Carrie Skinner; one great nephew, Keegan Boehnen; other relatives, friends and a lifelong friend Mary Pauline (Bishop) Sorg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John, Thomas, David, Keith and William "Willie" and a brother-in-law, Otto Rossbach.  She was also preceded in death by two nieces, Susan, daughter of Willie and Lois Skinner and Carla, daughter of Paul and Karen Skinner.

A memorial service for Kate will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 702 Emily Rd., Mazomanie with Pastor Brad Brookins officiating.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Interment in the Waldwick Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Kate's family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the caregivers from Agrace Hospice, Greenway Manor and to Dr. Janelle Hupp for their care and support.
