Kenneth "Kenny" H. Kelter, age 79, Prairie du Sac passed away at Sauk Prairie Hospital on Oct. 10, 2025. He was born May 8, 1946 to the late Hubert and Marguerite (Cecka) Kelter.  Kenny was a car guy his entire life; always having some of the coolest cars in his collection.  He worked for Gisholt Machine Shop in Madison, later moving near San Antonio, TX where he worked as a carpenter.  Upon his return to Sauk Prairie he started a lifelong career working for Ballweg Chevrolet in Sauk City, where he made many lifelong friends and customers, often remembering the sale of cars and his customers for years after the sale.   He loved NASCAR and time spent socializing with friends downtown.

Kenny is survived by nieces; Connie, Heather, Autumn and Rosalie; other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary and sisters; Sharon (Robert) Laird and Pat (Henry) Russell.

A service for Ken will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025 at 11:00 am at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City.  A visitation will be held one-hour prior to the service.  Interment will be held in the Sauk Prairie Cemetery.
