Kenneth "Ole" Larson, age 58, died on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 2, 1952, the son of the late Hiram and Eunice (Meuschke) Larson. He was a 1970 graduate of Lakeside Lutheran and was a 3 sport letterman. He was united in marriage to Karen Peterson on September 29, 1984. Ken was employed by the VA Hospital as a cardiology technician, lovingly tormenting his co-workers, for over 30 years, retiring in 2008. After retirement he enjoyed working at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. Ken was a very faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church. He was fun-loving and his priority was his home and family. He was an avid sports fan and most enjoyed attendind his daughters' games and performances.


He is survived by his wife, Karen; the loves of his life, his two daughters, Kali and Brooke; 3 siblings, Sandra (Myron) Kelly, Marty (Dolly) Larson, and Jackie (Fred) Jensen; his in-laws, Jerry and Barbara Peterson; many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends; and his special K9 companion, Ginger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Erik, and a niece, Marcia Larson.



A memorial service will be held at ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH, Prairie du Sac, at 5:00 p.m. on Wed., August 25, 2010 with Pastor Sally Williams officiating. Friends may call at the church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a fund that will be established for his daughters' education.
