IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kevin G.
Duffrin
August 7, 1972 – August 6, 2019
Kevin George Duffrin, age 46, passed away unexpectedly Aug. 6, 2019 at Tomah Memorial Hospital. He was born on Aug. 7, 1972 in Lacrosse, WI the son of Robert and Susan (Jones) Duffrin.
Kevin attended Lacrosse Logan High School and graduated in 1991. Kevin then attended culinary school in Colorado then returned to Lacrosse area. Upon returning to Lacrosse he worked various jobs around the area. Kevin was a lifelong Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed playing cards and learning new card games. He loved teaching people how to play. When he lost a card game he always said "I must have taught them too well" with a smile on his face.
One of Kevin's greatest qualities was that he always gave back to his community and helped anyone that he could. Kevin particularly enjoyed Thanksgiving and Christmas time when the family would come together. Kevin always volunteered at the Lacrosse center to serve meals at Thanksgiving time. It was the highlight of his year. No matter how little Kevin had he always shared whatever he could with others who needed it.
He is survived by his father, Robert Duffrin of Lacrosse; his siblings, Broeck Duffrin of Lacrosse, Tammy (Calvin) Flick of Eau Claire, Tracy Duffrin of Duluth, and Brad (Jessica) Duffrin of DeForest; one nephew, Christian Duffrin and one niece, Adriana Duffrin both of Deforest. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Duffrin of Lacrosse, maternal and paternal grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
A private family service will be held in Lacrosse at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Kevin's family would ask that you make donations to your local food pantry to help others the way Kevin always did.
Kevin's family would like to thank his care team at Care Wisconsin and Living Well AFH for taking such good care of him.
