Kevin "Ole" Oleson, 43, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, September 26, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. Kevin was born March 24, 1974 to Harold and Karen (Ticknor) Oleson. He had a love for growing up in Harlow Acres, enjoying the Witwen Parade and riding with the "Harlow Angels" bicycle gang. He was a 1992 graduate of Sauk Prairie High School. Kevin was united in marriage to his best friend, Karin A. Ziegler on June 12, 2004.

From a young age, Kevin liked to fix and build things. He not only was gifted and talented at his craft, but also selfless when anyone was in need and he could lend a hand. Whether it was helping with a construction project, taking "extra" kids on an adventure, or supervising at the sugar shack. He enjoyed hunting, sapping in the spring, and anything outdoors, especially time in Hayward "The Big Woods" at the cabin; which he helped his parents build. He had a gift of gab, quick wit, a contagious smile, and a huge circle of friends. He loved nothing more than being a Dad to Kaylee and Kadin.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Karin; 2 children, Kaylee (11) and Kadin (9); his parents, Harold and Karen; brother, Tim; his in-laws, Ed and Donna Ziegler; sisters in-law, Vicki (Mark) Orr, Jean (Curt) Hooverson, Tammy (Adam) Fitzpatrick; and brother in-law, Dan (Missy) Ziegler, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 1290 Nachreiner Ave., Plain, WI. A visitation will be held at the church from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, October 2, 2017 and one hour prior to the Mass.

In keeping with Kevin's generous and loving spirit, it was his decision to donate his organs to help others. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for Kevin and Karin's children as well as a donation to a charity that lies close to their hearts.
