Kevin Michael Kruchten, age 49, passed away on Sat. July 2, 2016 after a brief battle with multiple melanoma. He was born at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital on Aug. 19, 1966 to Bernard and Barb (Paar) Kruchten. Kevin graduated Sauk Prairie High School; class of 1985. He was united in marriage to Tammy J. Frosch on July 9, 1988 at St. Norbert's Catholic Church in Roxbury. Kevin was a hard working farmer and proud to be farming the same farm his dad, Bernard and Grandpa Mike farmed; and even more proud that children were following his dream at the Kruchten Dairy. He looked forward to an annual fishing trip to Canada and a NASCAR race with family and friends. Kevin enjoyed tractor pulling and formerly ran the Roxbury Rebel. He loved cheering on the Packers, watching baseball and spending time with his kids.
He is survived by his best friend and wife, Tammy; 4 children, Jeremy, Emily (Brigham) White, Lindsey, and Zachary; his parents, Bernard and Barb; a sister, Kristi (Rob) Kruchten; brother, Dan (Kari) Kruchten; his best friend and brother from another mother, Pat Herbst and his children, Ashley and Steve; his father and mother in-law, Tom and Alice Frosch; brother in-law, Trevor (Karen) Frosch, sister in-law, Tina (Craig) Raschein. Kevin is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
As per Kevin's wishes, a Celebration of His Life and social gathering will be held starting at 5:00 pm at the Dorf Haus, Roxbury on Sun. July 10, 2016, a brief reflection of his life will be held at 6:00 pm.
Kevin and his family wanted to make sure they extended their sincerest gratitude to Tiger and Greg and New Age Custom Farming, Pat Herbst and his team from FS, and the staff at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
