Kurt "Reggie" Douglas Jackson, age 53, passed away at home on Thursday, June 4, 2015 due to a struggle with cancer. He was born March 25, 1962 to Donald and Mary (Pyfferon) Jackson. He attended Sauk Prairie High School, graduating in 1980. Reggie married Doreen A. Hellenbrand on September 25, 1982. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, home talent baseball, and a good game of sheepshead. Reggie looked forward to Packer parties at the Springfield Inn, and an annual trip to watch the Packers with his wife Doreen. He worked as a milk truck driver for KNK trucking for over 18 years.
He is survived by his wife, Doreen; his mom, Mary Jackson; sister, Judy (Richard) Brager; brother, Brian (Jan Landowski) Jackson; 4 sisters in-law, Deb Hellenbrand, Dorothy Ripp, Amy (Warren) Jungbluth, and Angie (Bob) Hellenbrand; his father and mother in-law, Vince and Betty Hellenbrand; 8 nieces, Stacy Witecha, Jodie Brager, Ashley Bestul, Ashley Ripp, Mindy Romine, Kristin Jungbluth, Lindsey and Rachel Hellenbrand; and a nephew, Kyle Jungbluth. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Jackson.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City, WI. A private interment in the Sauk City Cemetery will be held.
