She later served as a nursing and scheduling aid at Home Health United and Home Health Hospice until her retirement in 2016. Throughout the years, Lana enjoyed playing volleyball, camping, gathering with friends, throwing darts, and watching Packer and Badger games.
Lana was preceded in death by her husband Dick, her parents John and Dorothy Sorg, her mother-in-law Dawn Bohn, and her brother-in-law Allen Elliott. In addition to her children and grandchildren, she is survived by her special friend, Richard Steinhorst; siblings, Steve (Connie) Sorg, Bonnie (Duane) Lins, Phil (Matilda) Sorg, Jim (Renee) Sorg, and Julie (Tom) Meixelsperger; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Baraboo Police Department and the Sauk County Coroner's office for their patience, compassion, and professionalism.
