Larry D. Adair, age 57, died on Friday, February 18, 2011, after losing a 16 month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Chicago on April 21, 1953, the son of William and Lucille (Henderson) Adair. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served from 1972-1977. Larry loved his children and grandchildren and was an avid baseball fan. He was currently employed at Costco in Madison.


He is survived by 2 sons, Jon (Rachel) and Jason (Alyssa McCarthy), both of Prairie du Sac; 2 grandchildren, Domenic and Brayden; his mother, Lucille Adair of Sauk City; a brother, Calvin Adair of Denver, CO; and a sister, Nancy (David) LaPorte of Denver, CO. He was preceded in death by his father, William.


A memorial service will be held at SAUK PRAIRIE EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, Prairie du Sac, at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011, with Pastor Dwight Pulsfus officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
