Larry Bays of Prairie du Sac, WI went peacefully to his eternal church home on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. He found joy in reading the Word of God as well as living it. Larry enjoyed being a barber in the city of Toledo, OH for many years. He was a wonderful husband and best friend to his wife Frieda Bays for thirty-four years. He was a loving father, who along with his wife, instructed their children, Larrieda (Prentiss) Brown of Prairie du Sac, WI and Larry Nathaniel Bays of Tampa, FL, to follow Christ and live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. He has been a truly loving and influential grandfather to his granddaughters Lillie Ree, Neiya, Autumn and grandson Elijah Brown. He is survived by his brothers, James (Stephanie) Bays of Toledo, OH, Bruce Bays of Atlanta, GA and special brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Denise Bare of Prairie du Sac. A special thanks to the many friends who have given tremendous support at Sauk Prairie Evangelical Free Church in Prairie du Sac, along with a host of other family and friends. Larry's favorite scripture that he said "sums up the whole Bible" is John 3:16. Funeral services will be held at SAUK PRAIRIE EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, Prairie du Sac, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2008 with Pastors Tim Pietrogallo and Dwight Pulsfus officiating. Burial will follow in the Sauk City Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church, one hour prior to the service.
