Laura Megan Robson, age 32, of Arena and formerly of Roselle, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Oct. 20, 2025 at University Hospital, Madison after a valiant battle with leukemia. She was born in Glendale Heights, IL on Jan. 14, 1993 to Ross and Donna (Wasmund) Elke. Laura graduated from Lake Park High School; class of 2011. She went on to attended College of Dupage earning a degree in culinary arts and hospitality.
Laura worked at Cookies by Design in the greater Chicago area and Marriott Hotels. She met Danny Robson and soon transferred to Marriot, Madison. Laura went on to work with Danny at Plastic Ingenuity in Mazomanie. They were united in marriage on Feb. 2, 2022. Their greatest Christmas present came when Devin was born on Dec. 26, 2023. Laura enjoyed baking and cooking and could often be convinced to make a cake for events, she enjoyed her nights out and wine walks, and looked forward to time spent with her family and loved their dog, Piper.
Laura is survived by her husband, Danny and daughter, Devin; her parents, Ross and Donna Elke; a sister, Ashley (Jar) Elke and their daughter, Arlo; mother in-law, Tina (Peter) Zander; father in-law, Chris (Rozanne) Robson; 2 grandmothers in-law, Mary Sawle and Lois Rodamaker; brother in-law, Collin Zander; Laura's uncles, Roger Elke (Cinder) and Marvin (Suzie) Wasmund; Danny's uncles, Rich (Darci) and Ryan (Nina) Meili; and aunt, Lori Dobson. Laura is further survived by numerous relatives and friends.
A Visitation to Celebrate Laura's Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 702 Emily Rd., Mazomanie from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
Laura's family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the healthcare professionals at University Hospital Oncology and Carbone Cancer Center for their treatments and care, and to the numerous family and friends for their care and help, thank you.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for Devin's future education.
