Lauri Ann Brown of Sauk City, WI passed away at home on Oct.10, 2023 after a four year battle with cancer at the age of sixty-six.

Lauri is survived by her loving husband, Jim Brown; her brother Tim (Nancy) Aure; thirty-two nieces and nephews and their families whom she loved dearly; and her beloved Yorkshire Terriers, Tucker and Sadie. Preceding her in death are her parents Stan and Stella Aure.

Lauri was born on June 10,1957 in South Dakota. She grew up in Madison, WI and graduated from LaFollette High School in 1975. She worked for thirteen years at CUNA, Madison; and 15 years at RWHC, Sauk City. Lauri and Jim resided in Bensenville,IL; Friendship,WI; and Sauk City,WI.

Lauri and Jim spent 41 years together and had many adventures. Lauri loved traveling, the outdoors, camping, snowmobiling, boating, and road trips. She was crazy for Christmas, Hallmark movies and hot cocoa. She was talented at many crafts and enjoyed her girlfriend's get-a-ways of antiquing and creating. She loved making Lefse and Lutefisk, and cooking for her family and friends. But most of all, she had a way of making every single person in her life feel loved and cared for. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held for Lauri on Monday Oct.16, 2023 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St. Sauk City, WI 53583.
