Obituary

Lee Ann R. Goelz, 85,  a long time resident of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin died
peacefully at home on Wednesday, the 12
th of September following a battle with an aggressive form of cancer.  She was born
on July 23, 1933 on a farm in Hector Minnesota, the daughter of the late Chester
and Ruth(Holmberg)Larson.

She met the love of her life, Michael Goelz on an
arranged date, who she married on July 18, 1952. She was co-owner of Michael's
Implement and Bobcat of Madison with her husband. She enjoyed playing golf &
cards with friends; spending time at the family cabin on Lake Wisconsin;
spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as volunteering at
St. John's Lutheran church and singing in the choir, "The Messengers".  She
enjoyed camping in her motorhome and meeting new people during her travels.
She was always up for a good time and often lit up the room (and elevators) with her
laughter and her smile. She was a great cook, loved entertaining and was known
for her amazing apple pies.

She was a loving mother to five daughters, Shirlee
(Byron)Lewis, Julie (Jeff)Balch, Michele (Brian) Bertrand, Jean (Jim) Covers and
Susan Kurzinski, sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  In
addition, she is survived by her husband Michael, sister Janell (Fred) Petersen,
sister-in-law Mary Larson, brother-in-law Jerry Presnell and son-in-law Marty
Kurzinski and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her
parents, sisters Nadean Presnell, Marjean Horky, and brother David Larson.

All services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 Oak Street, Prairie du
Sac, WI.  Visitation will be held Thursday, 9/20/18, 5pm – 7pm; Memorial
Service, Friday 9/21/18, 11am with Pastor Fred Rilling officiating. In lieu of flowers, Lee Ann has requested
memorial gifts to be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 Oak Street, Prairie
du Sac, WI  53578
