Obituary
Leo K. Palchik, age 73, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Meriter Hospital, Madison. He was born in Hatfield, WI. on April 6, 1937, the son of the late Cyril and Mildred (Marek) Palchik. He was united in marriage to JoAnn Hughes on October 3, 1959.
Leo was the owner of Northland Door Systems in Prairie du Sac and Country Door Systems in Janesville since 1983. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and photography, and his passion was spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his cats.
Survivors include his wife JoAnn; two sons, Bryan (Annette) and
Bradley (Laurie); three grandchildren, Nicole (Nickolaus) Knuth, Cody, and Dylan; a great-grandson, Brody Knuth; a brother, Cyril; a sister, Phyllis (Ronald) Lambert; other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 16 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family which will be donated to the Yellowstone Association.
