Leone "Lee" Salsman, age 96, passed away peacefully on Sat. Feb. 3, 2018 at Maplewood Nursing Home of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Arcadia, WI on Jan. 26, 1922 to the late Albert and Rose (Slaby) Soppa. Lee attended and graduated from Arcadia High School; class of 1940. For over 30 years she worked as a Federal Employee in administration for Social Security Offices in the cities of Eau Claire and Minneapolis. Later she enjoyed hosting at Vescio's Italian Restaurant in Minneapolis. Lee enjoyed traveling Europe and Asia and her most memorable trip was a Safari in Africa.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee Page of Merrimac, granddaughter, Jamie Page of Lakeville, Mn., other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Loretta "Lorrie" (Alexander) Stathus, of Milwaukee, WI.

Lee's family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to the staff at Maplewood Village and Maplewood Nursing Home for their dignified and loving care.

As per Lee's wishes a private family service will be held.
