Linda Joyce Schoepp, age 67, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Home Health United Hospice House in Baraboo. Linda was born September 11, 1943 in Baraboo to Loren and Margaret (Hill) Colby. She married Paul Schoepp June 2, 1962. In her spare time, when not spending time with her children and grand-children, Linda could be found spending time in her flower gardens. Linda retired after 30 years from the Sauk Prairie School District, in Pupil Services. She enjoyed being active in school activities and volunteering in her community. She was an active member of St. Norbert's Catholic church in Roxbury and served on the Parish Council and the Bible Study Group for many years.


She is survived by her husband Paul; sons, Patrick ( friend Carla) Schoepp and Peter Schoepp; daughters, Teresa (Eric) Zoromski and Gail Wuesthoff; 5 grand-children, Kristopher, Tyler, Margaret, Lukasz, and Monika; her mother, Margaret Colby a brother, Tim (Marcia) Colby; and 4 sisters, Karen (friend Ron) Colby, Jackie (Don) Barnhill, Marjorie (Bob) Banner, and Candace (Leon) Buckles. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Loren.


A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11:00am at St. Norbert's Catholic Church in Roxbury. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at HOOVERSON Funeral Home, in Sauk City from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, and the morning of the service from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
