Lois Mae Lundgren, age 98, passed away Friday. Apr. 7, 2023 at Oak Park Place in Baraboo.   She was born at home in Prairie du Sac on May 14, 1924 to the late Isadore and Clara (Accola) Raschein.  Lois  was united in marriage to Howard Lundgren on June 1, 1945; he preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 2011.  Together they farmed in the Honey Creek Township.

She was an excellent cook, enjoyed baking, spending time with friends and family, gardening, and enjoyed her winters in Texas.  She was very true to her Christian beliefs and fellowship.

Lois is survived by her children; David (Debbie) Lundgren and Merilee (Dan) Leitzke; 9 grandchildren, Ross Fonder, Shawn (Alisha) Fonder, Andrea (Jason) Stevens, Michelle (Dave) Kyhn, Patrick (Priscilla) Lundgren, Jon Lundgren, Brittany (Jon) Marker, Brooke Lundgren, Brianna (Kyle) Lee; 15 great grandchildren; brother Lauren (Karren) Raschein, sister in-law Shelby Raschein; daughter in-law Margaret Lundgren; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Shirlee and a son, Dale; siblings, Virginia, Genevieve and Roy.

A Memorial Service for Lois will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Sauk City Community Center, 730 Monroe St., Sauk City.  A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service.  Burial will follow in the Sauk Prairie Cemetery.
