Lois L. Reeve, age 74, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Hearland Country Village in Black Earth with her family by her side. She was born on July 20, 1936 to Cyrus and Mabel (Huset) Jordan of Mazomanie. She married Evert Reeve on June 18, 1955 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mazomanie.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Evert; four children, Evert Jr. (Linda) Reeve, Shirley (Gerry) Haack, Sandy (Alan) Witzel, and Barbara (Wes) Kezer; grandchildren, Carey, Casey, Kendal, Amy, Sarah, Scott, Kim, Melissa, Vanessa, Samantha, Andrew, Mathew and Zach; 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elaine (Gordy ) Gray and Beverly Ladd; a special sister in-law and best friend, Nancy (Gene) Brueggman; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-mother Brita Jordan, and her father-in-law and mother in-law, Vernon and Edna Reeve.

A celebration of Lois' life will be held at New Heights Lutheran Church, Mazomanie, at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 27, 2011 with Pastor Rob Nelson officiating, burial will follow in the Mazomanie Cemetery. A visitation will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Hwy. 14 west, Mazomanie, on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Lois will be remembered as a loving wife and wonderful grandmother. Lois' family would like to thank the staff at Heartland Country Village for the loving care they gave her. A memorial fund for Hospice Care will be established in Lois's name.
