Obituary
Loraine M. Wittwer, age 94, passed away on February 20, 2018 at the Sauk Prairie Hospital. She was born in West Point Township on July 28, 1923 the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Frey) Hochstein.
She was united in marriage to Ernest J. Wittwer on June 9, 1948 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Lodi. Loraine was employed by Ganser's Dime Store, Sauk City, for many years.
She is survived by her three children; Ann (Bruce) Firlus, John (Kathryn), and David (Debbie); 7 grandchildren, Le (Minh) Tran, Lisa (Alex) Nichols, Beth (Joe) Galasso, Adria (Sean) Corcoran, Eric Wittwer, Kyle (Emily Minerath) Wittwer, Dana (Jordan) Schaller; 5 great grandchildren, Kimberly Tran, Samantha (Tim) Mui, Felicity Corcoran, Nathan Nichols, Macy Schaller.
one sister, Mary (Edward) Prem.
2 sisters-in-law; Catherine Hochstein and Elaine Wittwer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 brothers, Arnold and Arthur Hochstein.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on at 11:30 am Monday, February 26, 2018 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City, WI. Burial will follow in St. Norbert's Cemetery, Roxbury.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 11:15 am on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, WI
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice in Loraine's name.
