Lorena B. Keller, age 92, died on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Sauk City on March 5, 1918, the daughter of the late Lorenze and Barbara (Fassbender) Neumaier. She was united in marriage to Erwin F. Keller on April 12, 1939. The couple farmed in West Point township. Lorena was a lifetime member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, the Council of Catholic Women, Oakwood Homemakers, a member, past secretary and volunteer of St. Vincent DePaul Society, and a volunteer at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital for many years.




She is survived by a son, Jerome (Ruth) of Prairie du Sac; a daughter-in-law, Sandy of Auburndale; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 6 great--great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin; a son, Lawrence; grandson, Dale; and 2 brothers, Robert and Richard.





A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Sauk City, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 with Fr. Jared Hood officiating. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Friends may call at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2010.
