Loretta M. Dooley, age 90, of Waunakee and formerly of Sauk City and Madison, passed away peacefully at Waunakee Valley Nursing Home on Monday, July 1, 2024.  She was born on Jan. 1, 1934 to the late Adolph and Genevieve (McCarville) Roessler.  She was united in marriage to Peter Dooley on April 28, 1973; he preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 2013.

She is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters and brother in-laws, Mary (John) Flauger, Joan (Rodney) Premo, Maxine (Del) Hambrecht, Mercedes (Hilary) Mack, Collett "Cork" Mabbott/McFarlane, Donna Faye (Sylvester) Statz, and Polly (Russ) Mallon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 11:00 am at St., Aloysius Catholic Church, 115 Madison St., Sauk City.  A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City.
