Obituary

Lyle Edward Hamm, age 98, passed away on Sat. Jan. 28, 2017 at the Meadows in Spring Green. He was born a twin brother to John on Dec. 25, 1918 in Mazomanie to the late Phillip and Maude Hamm. Lyle graduated Mazomanie High School and later attended M.A.T.C. in Madison. He worked at both the Mazomanie Egg Plant and at Badger Army Ordinance in Sauk City. Lyle worked as a Union Steamfitter for over 35 years and was proud to have worked on many projects including the University of Wisconsin and U.W Hospital, both in Madison. He married Maxine Post on Nov. 4, 1994 in the home he built for them. He enjoyed reading, Jeopardy, boating on the river, and working on construction and wood working projects.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Maxine; step-children, Kathi (John Ringstad) Griffin, and Kris (Randy Troendle) Mabin; special family members, Mark Annen, Tammy Parkin, Daryl (Ken) Oren and their 2 daughters; 8 step-grandchildren; 9 great-step grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; 4 step-children, Sonny, Ed, Mickey Post and
Karen Hall; a step-grandchild, Melissa Hall; 2 brothers, John and Ken Hamm; and 3 half siblings.

A funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thur. Feb. 2, 2017 at Hooverson Funeral Home, Mazomanie. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in the Mazomanie Cemetery.

Lyle's family would like to extend their sincerest graditude to Dr. Janelle Hupp, The Meadow's Staff, and Home Health Hospice.
