Lyle J. Lamberty, age 73, died Monday, March 31, 2008, at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. He was born on Aug. 6, 1934, in Prairie du Sac, the son of the late Herman and Doris (Breunig) Lamberty. Lyle was a U.S. Veteran having served in the Army. He married Patricia Schutz on Oct. 16, 1982. Lyle was a very religious and caring person who always put others before himself. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and Catholic Knights. Survivors include his wife, Pat of Prairie du Sac; two stepsons, Randy (special friend, Andrea Paul) Huelsemann of Prairie du Sac, and Erich |(Kathy) Huelsemann of Sauk City; three grandchildren, Fletcher, Harrison and Tarra; a brother, LeRoy (Char) Lamberty of Sauk City; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald "Neil" Lamberty. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2008, at ST. ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Sauk City, with Father Miguel Galvez officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
