Lynn M. Dederich

Lynn Marie Dederich, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on 8/22/2026 at her home. She was born 8/1/1970 in Sauk City, the daughter of Russell and Beverly (Wenzel) Ott. She attended Sauk Prairie Schools. Lynn was employed by the Sauk Prairie Healthcare for 26 years where she touched the lives of many people in all departments. She took pride in her work and always had a smile on her face. She started in the kitchen and eventually moved to the purchasing department where she was for over a decade.

Lynn loved her family and was always putting other people first. Lynn and Mike enjoyed a unique weekend routine of getting breakfast and going to Ho-Chunk on Saturdays and going to visit Mike's daughter, McKenzy and her family on Sundays. She loved to cheer on her favorite team, the Green Bay Packers. Lynn also loved to go tubing down the Wisconsin River and UTV adventures with her friends and family.

Lynn is survived by her partner, Michael Peetz; children, David (Stephanie) Schrofer, Amanda Dederich, Dawn Dederich, and McKenzy (Garrick) Staveness; grandchildren Zachary Grefe, Owen Schrofer, Oaklynn and Korbyn Staveness; siblings Cindy (Larry) Schwartz, Steve (Brenda) Ott, Randy Ott, and Cheryl (Bill) Brice.

She was preceded in death by her mother (Beverly Ott), father, (Russell Ott), and her brother, Craig.

A visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 pm on Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City. Following the visitation there will be an intimate service at 5:00pm.

A celebration of life to be held at a later date.
