Obituary
Mae Irene Schaefer, age 97, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Lodi. She was born May 22, 1913 in Troy Township, the daughter of the late William and Minnie (Schneider) Schaefer. Mae was a beautician and the owner of Mae's Beauty Nook from 1938-1982. She was a member of the Lodi United Methodist Church, the Sauk Prairie Country Club and the Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital Foundation. She was an avid bowler, winning many trophies and awards and loved to travel.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and special friends, Joy and Dennis Clark, and their daughter, Jennifer Hansen.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery.
A special thank-you to Dr. Maribeth Baker and the staff of the Pines and Good Samaritan.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and special friends, Joy and Dennis Clark, and their daughter, Jennifer Hansen.
