Sauk City - Margaret C. (Mabie) Boyle , age 88, died Monday February 1, 2010 at HospiceCare, Inc, in Fitchburg. She was born on July 15, 1921 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Louis and Lena (Burndschuk) Schuetter. She was united in marriage to Ernest "Bud" Mabie on February 11, 1945 at Battle Creek Michigan. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1990. She later married Franklin Boyle on September 21, 1991 and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2004. Margaret was a longtime resident of Leland and later moved to Sauk City. She was a member of the Hilltop Singers, Little Prairie Homemakers, Bethlehem United Methodist Church Black Hawk, and enjoyed her time volunteering at Sunshine Patch at the Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by two sons, Ron (Susan) Mabie of Cottage Grove, and Doug (Linda) Mabie of Sauk City; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott Thompson) of Prairie du Sac, Matthew (Kristen) Mabie of Cottage Grove , Michael Mabie of Shakopee, MN, and Miles Mabie of Ironwood, MI; three great-grandchildren, Matilyn, Kendyl and Mason; and a sister, Lillian Klooster of Anderson, Indiana.

In addition to her husbands and parents she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Black Hawk, with Pastor Kendall Schlittler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, and also at the church on Saturday, one hour prior to service. Memorials may be given to Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital, HospiceCare, Inc., 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711, or to the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Black Hawk.
