Marguerite Mary Skinner, age 92, died on Monday, September 22, 2008 at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. She was born in Waldwick Township, Iowa County, on December 1, 1915, the daughter of the late Byron and LuLu (Chandler) Stevens. She was united in marriage to John Milton "Milt" Skinner on July 25, 1939 in Waldwick. He preceded her in death on December 3, 1971. Marguerite was an avid knitter and volunteered with Dane County RSVP, making and donating clothing to those in need. She is survived by four children,Kathryn "Kate" Skinner of Mazomanie, Jane Rossbach of Mazomanie, William "Bill" (Lois) Skinner of Mazomanie, Paul (Karen) Skinner of Sauk City; 5 Grandchildren; 1 Great-grandchild; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sons, John, Thomas, David and Keith; a son-in-law, Otto Rossbach. A memorial service will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Highway 14 West, Mazomanie, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2008 with Pastor Carolyn Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Waldwick Cemetery, Waldwick Township, Iowa County. Friends may call at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
