Marie Margaret Grass, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born November 7, 1916 in Carlyle, Illinois. She was united in marriage to Albert "Sandy" Grass on November 6, 1940. The couple farmed in Honey Creek and Baraboo townships and also owned a campground and riding stable near Baraboo. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Grass and Sandy (Edward) Sinner, both of Madison; a sister, Marge Ortman of Illinois; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Paul, Bill and Tony Ortman; and two sisters, Katherine and Adele. A private service was held with Rev. Dennis Weis officiating. Burial was in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
