Marilyn Rischmueller, age 90, passed away on July 31, 2026. Marilyn was born on December 2, 1935 to Ben and Ruth (Kessler) Biech and was raised on their family farm in the Town of Caledonia. She was united in marriage to Clair Rischmueller on July 21, 1956 in Baraboo, WI. They made their home in Middleton, WI where they raised their son David. Along with being a stay-at-home mom, Marilyn did the bookkeeping for their family business Four Lakes Landscaping. While at the Bruce Company, she was given the nickname Sarge by some of her co-workers.
Marilyn enjoyed watching Badger and Packer football games. She also enjoyed the trips taken in their 1973 GMC motorhome and listening to polka music. She was blessed to be able to help care for her oldest great-grandson Ben as a baby until he started school. Marilyn was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Middleton.
Marilyn is survived by her son David (Lynette); granddaughters Stacy (Mike) McMillan and Katie Rischmueller; great-grandsons Ben (Jessica), Ethan and Brody; and great-great-grandson Asher.
