Obituary

Mark Robert Enerson, age 69, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, February 23, 2026. Mark was born on September 2, 1956, to the late Russell and Marianne (Urback) Enerson in Glencoe, Minnesota.  He was the youngest of 3 boys and he was Marianne's "Favorite" as his brother Larry and Niece Rachel teased in his later years. He was a very special man with lifelong friendships and a good heart. As a young child Mark went to work on a farm and that's where he began driving semi.  Once he turned 18, he began driving semi full time. Mark drove semi for over 42 years and took great pride in the company he built and the semi's he was driving. He always made sure they looked sharp and clean. He enjoyed visiting and having a good time with friends and family. He cherished his dog, Dylan.

Mark will be missed by his brother, Larry Enerson; his niece, Rachel (Dale) Nelson; great nephews, Wyatt (fiancée Reagan) Nelson and Jeffrey (special friend, Sophie) Nelson; nephew, Richard (Amanda) Enerson; nephew, Ryan (Shannon) Enerson; great nieces and nephews, Logan, Aidan, Alana, Ashton, Serenity and Gabriel; great great nephews, Caspin and Wesley Enerson; special friend, Trish (Brian) Churchill; special friends, Tommy (Misty) Schuler; Tim (Tracy) Deppe; John (Tammy) Pate; Jacob Pate; Scott Nehring; other relatives and friends and especially by his best buddy Dylan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Enerson; sister-in law, Joan Enerson; uncle, Henry and aunt, MayBrit Urback, uncle, Orlin Enerson, and aunt, Carol Enerson.

There will be a celebration of life at Zeman's Old Highway House, 620 W Pine St, Baraboo on March 21, 2026, from 1-4 pm. Mark's ashes will be buried at a later date with his mom and next to his dad where his mom can have her "favorite" next to her for eternity.  Oh, yah, yah.

The Trucker's Last Ride

He travelled the road in years gone past.

A life he chose and hoped it would last.

Driving all night, from state to state

To get back to home though arriving so late.

He's parked his truck now, his engine has stopped,

And those who love him their hearts have dropped.

He travelled the land with a smile of great pride,

Now he drives the streets of Heaven on the truckers last ride,

May your roads always be clear,

10-4 and goodbye.
