Mark A. Johnson

Mark Johnson, 64, passed away on September 18, 2026, following a battle with pancreatic cancer. Mark was born in Madison, Wisconsin, to Fred and Charlene. He moved to Lodi as a young boy, where he was raised.

Mark married the love of his life, Terri, on September 25, 1982. He was a hardworking union electrician (IBEW local 159) who truly loved his job, but his greatest pride and joy was always his family. Known for his loyalty, generosity, stubbornness, and loving heart, Mark was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family fiercely.

He was incredibly proud of his children, Jake (Krista) Johnson, Josh (Tasha) Johnson, and Janae (Jeremy) Schell. His six grandchildren, Raelynn, Kaesyn, Macy, Brody, Otis, and Mabel, were his pride and joy. He loved cheering them on at their sporting and musical events and treasured every moment spent with them.

Mark enjoyed hunting because it meant time with family. He also cherished Sunday family dinners and spending time at his property in Necedah. These moments, surrounded by the people he loved most, meant everything to him.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Charlene, and his beloved Uncle Ronald.

He is survived by his loving wife, Terri; his children and grandchildren; his sister, Debbie (Paul) McDougal; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the UW Carbone Cancer Center, Agrace Hospice, and Sauk Prairie Hospital for the excellent care and compassion they provided.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hooverson Funeral Home in Sauk City, followed by a Celebration of Life from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Dorf Haus in Roxbury.
