Marla S. Nickola, age 73, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Sauk City on December 14, 2020.  She was born in El Centro, California on November 26, 1947 to the late Floyd and Beatrice (Rossman) Mann.  Marla attended and graduated from Sierra Vista High School in Baldwin Park, California, graduating in 1966.  She was formerly employed at Green Acres and then later worked at Prairie Clinic for over 15 years, retiring in 2017.  Marla was a selfless, hardworking woman with an eccentric, one of a kind personality.  She loved her family and friends fiercely.  Marla had a heart of gold and appreciated everything she got from people whether it be a call, a hug or a gift and always made sure everyone was taken care of.  She enjoyed her cats, knitting and looking for a bargain at the local garage sales.

Marla is survived by her children, Stephen (Jody) McClain, Julie Roberts and Mike (Clarice) Nickola; granddaughter, Kaitlyn McClain; brother, Ronnie (Jan) Mann; sister-in-law, Louise Mann and nieces Jeanna, Debbie and nephew, Jeff; best friend, Kristi Porter; other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt Nickola; and a brother, Terry Mann.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
