IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marlene F.
Kirch
May 3, 1939 – November 3, 2023
Marlene Francis Kirch, age 84, passed away peacefully at Maplewood Nursing Home, Sauk City on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023. She was born May 3, 1939 to the late Frank and Loraine (Kelly) Raba. She attended St. Norbert's Grade school in Roxbury and graduated from Sauk City High School in 1958. Marlene enjoyed her 35-year career at Sauk Prairie Hospital. After her retirement from the Hospital, she volunteered there and later at Maplewood Nursing Home until she was no longer physically able. She would often generously gift her Avon items to friends and family. She enjoyed puffy Cheetos, popcorn, classic country music, word searches, cheering on the Packers and Badgers, and playing a game of skip-bo.
Marlene is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Kirch and Craig (Tammy) Kirch; grandchildren, Breana and Jeremiah; great grandchildren, Finnley, Rose and Saoirse; 4 siblings, Mary Roelke, Jackie Tarnutzer, Michael Horne, and Ron (Lena) Horne. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Raba and Loraine Horne and siblings, Walter Raba, Joyce Greenheck and Jack Horne.
A memorial service for Marlene will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, Nov. 10th, 2023 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A private committal service will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park.
