Marlene Larsen passed away November 28, 2023 at the age of 89 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Sauk City. She was born to Dewey and Meta (Zunker) Schult January 26,1934. Marlene was united in marriage to Edward "Ed" Larsen Sr. December 20, 1952.

Marlene worked for Kikkoman Foods in Walworth, WI. She was an avid reader, loved crocheting and baking cakes for family and friends, even her daughter's wedding cake. She also enjoyed visits from family and friends and meeting new people. Many new friendships were made with the people she met.

Ed and Marlene loved to travel and made lifelong friends through their travels. The trips they enjoyed the most were the trips they took with their grandchildren when they were 8. The grandchildren will have those memories to cherish forever. After retirement they spent the winters in Yuma, AZ and Gulf Shores, AL.

Marlene's greatest pride and joy was her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed watching them show their animals at the county fairs, sporting events and dance.

Marlene is survived by her children, Ed Jr. (Rita), Allen (Cindy), Mark and Penni (Mike) Dolan; nine grandchildren, Don (Sandy) Larsen, Doug (Kari) Larsen, Kevin (Serena) Larsen, Sarah (Jake) Larsen, Josh (Jessi) Larsen, Matt (Andra) Dolan, Jennifer (David) Stevens, Kayla (Dan) Svedin, Dani (Charles "Buzzy") Brown and sixteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Mary Jean (Bob) Peterson, Donna Larsen and brother-in-law Ted Larsen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Sr., parents, Dewey and Meta, and stepmother Edna Schult; siblings, Edith (Frederick) Scherbert, Lyle, Caroline (Donald) Peetz and Ardith (Carl) Moldenhauer; her mother and father-in-law Howard and Laura Larsen, and sibling in-in-laws Clara (Robert) Klemm, Lucille (Wesley) Kuntz, Howard (Lynn) Larsen, Tom (Elaine) Larsen and Mildred Larsen.

The family would like to thank Dr. Maribeth Baker, Maplewood Assisted Living and Maplewood Nursing for their loving attention and care they gave Marlene.
