Marvin William Fass, age 86, passed away after a long illness of heart disease on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at his home in Sauk City, with his loving wife at his side. He was born April 26, 1922 in Roxbury to the late Edward and Mary (Fassbender) Fass. Marvin married Margaret Kelter on April 26, 1954. He worked for Oscar Meyer as a meat cutter for 30 years. Marvin will be sadly missed by his wife, Margaret "Margie" and his son, David, both of Sauk City; two sisters, Lucille Roelke of Sauk City and Marion Endres of Waunakee; and a brother, Roman Fass of Madison; along with many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother Charles. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 11:30 am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church with Fr. Jared Hood officiating. A luncheon will follow in the school gymnasium.
