Marvin Raymond Reynold Beuthin, age 97, joined our heavenly Father on Monday, Mar 13, 2023 surrounded by family.  He was born in Mazomanie Mar. 17, 1925 to the late Irwin and Adele (Schmitz) Beuthin.  Marvin attended Mazomanie High School; graduating in 1943.  He was united in marriage to Gloria J. Haerle on June 3, 1950; she preceded him in death on July 14, 2016.  Together they lived and raised their family on the family farm in Mazomanie.

Marvin was a true farmer, he loved working the land, working with animals and loving nature of all kinds.  He loved to fish, enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, visiting with neighbors and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He looked forward to church and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Prairie du Sac.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

God has him in his keeping, we have him in our hearts forever.

Marvin is survived by his sons, Fred (Virginia) Beuthin, John (Kerri) Beuthin; daughter, Susie (Gary) Maxwell; 7 grandchildren, Bill (Cindy) Beuthin, Carrie (Maxwell, Connie (Amir) Rosenbaum, Heather (Shawn) Meicher, Travis (Courtney) Beuthin, Jessica (Nathan)Kurzynske, JoAnn (Keith) Peterson; 11 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including sister in-law, Fran Michaels Beuthin.

In addition to his parents and wife, Gloria; he was preceded in death by a brother, Raphael (Linda), a sister, Margaret (Frank) Basthemer; and daughter in-law, Janice Beuthin.

A funeral service for Marvin will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, Mar. 24, 2023 at St.  John's Lutheran Church, 100 Oak St., Prairie du Sac with Pastor Sally Williams officiating.  A visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of service.  Interment will follow in the Mazomanie Cemetery.
