Mary Veronica Jackson-Carty, age 95, passed away peacefully at her home in Westpoint Township, Lodi, WI on June 6, 2017. She was born in County Clare, Ireland on Nov. 21, 1921 to the late Michael and Ellen (McMahon) McGrath. She immigrated to the United States by herself at the age of 17, and became a U.S. citizen in 1945. Mary married Harry Jackson in 1959 and later married Kevin Carty in 1972. She enjoyed her Irish heritage, had a devout Catholic faith, loved her family and worked hard every day of her life.

Mary is survived by her 2 children, Ellen (George) Lala, of Lodi and Michael (Lynn Newman) Jackson of Prairie du Sac; 3 grandchildren, Christina (Robert Steffen) Lala, John (Stacey Hopwood) Lala, Rebecca (David Radtke) Lala; a great grandson, Liam Radtke; a brother, Michael (Shirley Wheeler) McGrath; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 siblings.

A celebration of her life will be held from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sat. July, 29, 2017 at the Westpoint Township Ryan Park Pavilion, N2214 Rausch Rd., Lodi, WI 53555.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Sat. Aug., 19, 2017 at Skyline Memorial Park, 24800 S Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449.
