Mary Jane Greiber, age 90, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison. She was born in Reedsburg on November 10, 1930, the daughter of the late Orval and Agnes (Bartnick) Bills. She was united in marriage to LaVerne J. Greiber on April 18, 1950. She was a member of St. Norbert's Catholic Church. She worked for 13 years at Ray O Vac and retired after 27 years with TDS. Mary was dedicated to her family and had a love of God and nature, especially flowers and birds. She was an avid Packers and Badgers fan and enjoyed her time with friends, especially the Risley Oak Court Circle.
Blessed with five children, Dennis (Mary) Greiber of Sauk City, Linda (Tom) Davidson of McLean, Virginia, Steven (Inez) Greiber of DeForest, Pamela (Michael) Gyorog of Fond du Lac, and Debra (Rick) Miller of Independence, Iowa;
17 grandchildren, Michael (Jen) Greiber, Ryan (Marissa) Greiber, Jessica Davidson, Heather (Nathan) Rickman, Thomas (Rachel) Davidson, Stephanie Greiber (Dave), Trevor (Alyssa) Greiber, Mallory (Michael) Ellsbury, Scott (Keri) Gyorog, Deborah (Troy) Derwin, Jennifer (Brent) Hellenthal, Brandi (Daron) Cornell, Brenda Goerks, Brian Miller, Mitchell (Michelle) Miller, Kayla (Austen) Franck and Kyler (Morgan) Miller;
40 great-grandchildren; two sisters Arline Carpenter and Patricia Weaver (Robert) and one brother LeRoy Bills (Sheila).
Mary was preceded in death by her husband LaVerne, brothers Harold Bills, Robert Bills and Orville Bills.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Norbert's Catholic Church, Roxbury, at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, with Father James Kotch officiating. Burial service will be in the church cemetery followed by lunch. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Norbert's Catholic Church to fund a future memorial in Mary's memory.
