Matteo (te te) Dwayne Alcauter, passed away at the age of 2 on May 29th, 2024, at the tremendously comforting American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI. He met his eternal rest peacefully in his parents' arms after losing his battle to a sudden illness. Matteo was born on December 20, 2021, at St. Mary's hospital alongside his twin brother Gabriel Joshua to his loving parents Jessica and Pablo Alcauter.

Matteo was loved by many families and friends. He had a huge impact on anyone's life he touched within his too short 29 months of life. To know Matteo was to love him. To be in his presence was to feel an overwhelming amount of love and pure happiness. He had a smile that would light up any room and a laugh that was so contagious. His curly hair was a remarkable trademark that anyone he met admired. Matteo had so many stories to tell; by just looking at him all your worries disappeared. He really was a sun shining light in everyone's life.

Matteo loved spending time with his family. He loved singing and having dance parties in the living room; watching endless movies; Going on adventures to the park or children museums or the splash pad. He loved going on long walks with his Mama and brother. He loved learning about trucks and cars with his Daddy.

Matteo is survived by his loving parents: Pablo and Jessica Alcauter. His twin brother and best friend: Gabriel Alcauter. His incredible grandparents: Rosa and Pablo Alcauter; Jill (Gee Gee) Burkhamer-Krueger and Paul Krueger. His Beautiful Great Grandmothers: Patricia (Beena) Burkhamer; Luisa Alcauter; Dolores Krueger. His fun-loving Aunt's/Tia's and Uncles/Tio's: Amanda and Broc Bussan; Stephanie Alcauter and Jesus Alcauter; Chelsea Randolph, Ileana Smolik, Sarah (Seasa) Natov. As well as his small and feisty cousin Barrett Bussan.

The List of the aunt's/Tia's and Uncle's/Tio's could be endless, because family and friends would always show up on the good and the bad days, no matter what.

Matteo was preceded in death by Great Grandpa Dwayne Burkhamer, Great uncle Rob Lemmer, Great Grandpa Vern Krueger, Great Grandpa Jose-Maria Alcauter, Great Grandpa Salome Antunez, Great Grandma Dricala Avila.

A funeral service will be held at Hooverson funeral Home; 251 Water St, Sauk City, WI 53583, on June 7th, open visitation will start at 10AM with the service following at 11AM. A celebration of life following afterwards at the Culver Community Park from 1:30 to 4:30..
